Cam Stenberg, Web, Graphics, and Back Editor

Hello Roundtable peers, the 4 students who read the paper, and Shawn Gillen.
My time at Round Table has taught me several things. I have been the graphics/ web editor since my sophomore year. My friend Ella asked if I wanted to because they couldn’t find anyone else. It turns out you don’t need to know how to draw or have an ounce of graphic design skills to be the graphics editor for the Round Table.
This has been a major theme and maybe the biggest takeaway from my time at Beloit. No one knows what they are doing or what is going on. After four years I still don’t know what I’m doing or what is going on. I don’t know how to use a semicolon.
I love you Round Table. I kind of hate you sometimes Beloit College. But I love you for bringing me to people who have changed my life.
To Suzanne Cox my psychology advisor and professor. Thank you for letting me cry in your office! You are
so kind and have been so nurturing to me. You are everything I want to be in life. To Greg Buchanan. My other psychology advisor and professor. You truly make the world a less scary place. You make me feel hopeful. I always tried my hardest in your classes because I desperately wanted you to like me. To Bill New who I only had one class with during Covid my freshman year. Thank you for the xylophone and thinking my birth control patch was a booster shot. You were so kind to me.
To Isaac Young, Kate Linnenberg, Charles Westerberg, Allan Farrell, and so many more. Thank you for your wisdom.
To Solvi, my sweet kitty pk, Flora, Zeke, and Ella. Thank you for teaching me what love is.
To campus, It has been an honor to write your horoscopes every week and walk past people holding papers and giggling.
