We Got SWEATy, and it was Fun

Lili’s review:

On Monday, September 30, Ella and I pulled off an incredible feat. After my account was labeled fraudulent, Ella snagged us two tickets to the SWEAT tour, the joint tour that Charli XCX and Troye Sivan are putting on. The perfect end to brat summer. 

The whole thing was like a fever dream. Troye and Charli had absolutely perfect chemistry. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a sexier show. Between Troye’s minute-long makeout sesh with his dancer and Charli’s ass shaking, it was like I died and went to bisexual heaven. 

The entire thing was basically a giant dance party. The floor in our section would not stop shaking. Charli danced with our section, which is a memory I hope I will never forget. I think everyone should get to experience the sweat tour in their lifetime. Now I am eagerly awaiting a brat party on campus (looking at you Phi Psi)

It was life-changing and beautiful, and Ella is the Troye to my Charli forever! (yes yes!!! – Ella)

Ella’s review: 

Before getting the tickets and attending the show, I proclaimed to many individuals (including my Instagram story) that attending the SWEAT tour would fix me. And fix me it did. It truly was a non-stop dance party with a setlist made up of so many of my favorite songs that it feels like I hand-picked it myself. I’ve never been to a concert where even everyone in the upper levels was dancing so hard. They really turned the United Center into a gay club, and I was obsessed. I’ve been nursing a tragic crush on Troye Sivan since middle school, and I really got to thrive in this environment. As mentioned in Lili’s section, he was grinding on and making out with dancers for nearly the entire show, which was incredible. At one point, Charli was up on a platform right next to our section (the photo included is from this moment), dancing with our section of the crowd during one of Troye’s songs. I can now brag that I’ve partied with Charli XCX for the rest of my life, and I certainly will.
