To the Beloit College Campus and Community,
At the end of last semester, we sent out a plea. The future of our print edition was uncertain, and we asked for support from alumni, students, and staff. That support arrived—generously and in abundance. Thanks to the contributions of 28 generous donors, we are proud to say that print will continue.
We do not take this opportunity lightly. This semester, we are committed to securing outside funding sources so that we are not just surviving from crisis to crisis but thriving—providing students with invaluable journalistic experience and ensuring the campus community has access to timely, reliable news.
We would not be here without you. To our readers, our donors, and even our critics—you have made it possible for us to continue. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. This newspaper is more than just a publication; it is an institution that means the world to us. If the Round Table were to disappear, it would be a loss not only for the campus community but for all of us who believe in the power of student journalism.
So, once again—thank you.
