Hypothetical Parlays for Super Bowl LIX

The Super Bowl is the best time of the year because you can “hypothetically” bet on anything that goes on during the game. “I feel it in my gut! This year, this will hit!” is said by millions of Americans each year. During this glorious day, you can wager what the length of the halftime will be, the flipping of the game-opening coin, or even the Gatorade problem. The best part is that you don’t even have to pay attention to the game itself. I digress, though, and want to announce my hypothetical bets of the week.

  1. Betting the spread is different, and, well, why would you want to? The Chiefs, as of writing, are only 1.5 favorites, so there is no reason to bet on this. Just bet the money line if you think the Chiefs will win.
  2. Patrick Mahomes. There is a bet on Patrick Mahomes that is a free pick to most people, if you happen to have an account for this app. It’s half a yard for the pick, and well that is a LOCK for the game.
  3. DeVonta Smith receiving yards is currently at 50.5. We’re going to smash the over on this one, especially with AJ Brown, who is probably going to be covered all game against this man blitz heavy Chiefs defense.
  4. Jalen Hurts rushing yards. Again, with the defense that the Chiefs have, it looks like, right now, that the Chiefs will keep Jalen Hurts contained. The line is 40.5 right now, so I think the under will hit.
  5. It’s an optional pick for everyone out there. I think the Gatorade color for the Superbowl will be… Blue.

Thank you all if you’re reading this. If I am being completely honest, you should probably go against every pick I say. Somehow the opposite always wins. So to reiterate, Chiefs moneyline, Patrick Mahomes free .5 yard square, DeVonta Smith over receiving yards, Jalen Hurts under Rushing, and the optional Blue Gatorade.
