On Friday, Oct. 24, Beloit’s various clubs, organizations and Greek houses hosted a Trick or Treat event for the local children. Families from across the area came to participate, with everyone dressed up in fun costumes and eager for candy.
“It’s nice to have the college reach out and connect with the community,” said Cece Johnson’27.
“My favorite thing about Halloween is the supernatural. I love ghost stories,” said Anny Abreu’30. The event featured several games, such as Bingo, hosted by The Round Table.
The children themselves also had much to say about Halloween. The candy was a huge favorite, and the children expressed their love for candy corn, Twix, Chocolate, Blowpops, and more.
Kids and families dressed up as all sorts of characters, like Super Mario, The Ninja Turtles, Minions, Lilo and Stitch, Batman, Transformers, dinosaurs, princesses and cats, and many more.
